About Brian D. Hobson
Brian Hobson, a licensed painting contractor for 22 years, founded Hobson Painting & Coatings in 1998 and now employs a team of highly skilled painters. Starting his career in the painting business as a Journeyman Painter in 1986 and working as a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades helped Brian to develop hand’s-on expertise in all facets of the painting trade. Brian completed a four-year state certified apprenticeship program and added three additional years of trade school to hone his skills prior to founding Hobson Painting.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Brian and his team are well versed in all facets of Residential, Commercial, Industrial Painting and Coatings. Brian has developed and takes pride in the vast client referral network that he’s spent the last 2 decades to build, referrals from prior jobs drive the business. Brian is recognized as a licensed and certified painting contractor by the state of California and as an NACE Coatings Inspector, Level 1 paint inspector. Hobson Painting & Coatings has been voted “The Best Local Painting Contractor” on the Vallejo Times-Herald’s Best Of list for the last 10 years running.
